John Hume, 1937-2020
The Friends of Bethlehem University in Ireland were fortunate to have the support of Dr. John Hume as a co-founder in 2008. He was a trustee of the organisation until his death in 2020.
Among the honours bestowed on Dr. Hume were the Nobel Peace Prize, International Gandhi Peace Prize, Martin Luther King Award, Officier de Légion d’Honneur and Knight Commander of the Papal Order of St. Gregory the Great.
